This is partly due to the shape and design of the spool, but also to PENN's innovative X-Slow Leveline technology, which allows the reel to achieve more than 50 turns of line per spool oscillation. This means you'll get perfect line lay, helping the line fly freely cast after cast. No less than 9+1 sealed ball bearings contribute to smooth performance when retrieving or playing a fish, while the Quick Drag system allows you to quickly switch between drag and free spool functions. In addition, the two included spool capacity reducers can be quickly attached to the spool, meaning you'll never use more line than you need.
