Cybergun | Colt 1911 Series 70 Airsoft Pistol

The Colt 1911 has many variants, however the Series 70 is easily one of the nicest looking!

It has retained more of the classic shape (rounded main spring housing, slimline beaver tail safety, moulded sights, and slim single-sided safety catch) - so you won't find any accessory rails here! Punctuated by the wood effect grips, along with the iconic Colt Stallion, this piece is made all the better by the official Colt Trademarks (reproduced under license from Cybergun). The contrast on the markings seals the deal! Silver/grey frame and slide, with polished sides on the slide, with laser engraved trades!

Manufactured by KWC, it is powered by Co2. The magazine holds 1x 12g cannister, and 17 BB's - the co2 cannister will last approximately 50 shots, depending on how fast you shoot! As with all 1911's it has a single action trigger, which basically means the trigger only releases the hammer. Traditionally you load the magazine, insert it, and rack the slide. This puts one round in the chamber, cocks the hammer, and has it ready to fire. Pop on the safety and you're good to go!

Speaking of safety, this gun has 3x main safety features; 1.) unless cocked it cannot fire, 2.) the beaver tail safety will not allow the trigger to work unless pressed in (i.e. natural grip; prevents accidental discharge whilst holstered), and 3.) the safety lever itself which disengages the trigger. But of course, as we always recommend, the absolute safest way for transport and storage is to remove the magazine completely; without the mag it can never fire!

On the bottom of the main spring housing there is a lanyard loop, allowing the addition of a strap/sling to prevent the gun from falling out of your holster and being picked up by someone else! We would strongly recommend carrying this pistol in the Cybergun IMI style hard plastic holsters, as it will also stop you from losing magazines when holstered (some fabric holsters allow the magazine release button to be pressed).
