Product Description

The original, mid length, military-trusted Starston sock. Waterproof and breathable, the Starston thrives in cold environments. The Aquasealz™ membrane releases internal moisture, while denying the entry of water. Premium merino wool interior is soft and insulative, with natural odour-resistance. Built for cold, high-altitude pursuits.

Outer – Extra-durable nylon exterior, with 4-way stretch for an optimal fit.

Mid-Section – Aquasealz™ waterproof membrane releases moisture vapour from inside the sock.

Interior – Premium merino wool, with terry-loop knitting for extra comfort and sweat-wicking. Natural antimicrobial properties, stopping growth of odour-causing bacteria.

A seamless construction, with elastic support on the ankle, providing a close fit.

Designed for the cold, the Starston is insulative, moisture-wicking and waterproof. A merino wool interior, with terry-loop knitting, has strong thermal properties. Merino wool absorbs moisture away from the body, improving breathability. An engineered nylon blend exterior has similar moisture wicking properties, highlighting the cohesive functionality of the garment. The Starston’s Aquasealz™ membrane is 100% waterproof, sitting discretely in the mid-section of the sock. Essential for an extensive range of mountaineering and climbing disciplines, involving high-up, cold temperature terrains. Premier hiking socks.

Lovingly handmade in our Kings Lynn factory in Norfolk, to the highest possible standard. Accessories undergo an intensive testing process before coming to market.

We don’t like complicated things. And when it comes to the care of your socks, we want to make it as simple as possible. This is the type of sock you can throw in the wash along with the rest of your gear. No need to line dry or wash with special detergents. Since the membrane is a solid barrier, you’ll never need to re-waterproof.
