ENHANCED NIGHT SENSITIVITY
The use of the new electronic components and advanced software allowed us to significantly enhance night sensitivity in the Digiforce X950 / X970, as compared to other Pulsar NV digital devices.
SUM LIGHT
The use of Sum Light mode substantially increases sensitivity of the sensor thus enabling observation in low light without using the IR Illuminator.
VARIABLE MAGNIFICATION
Basic magnification of Digisight X950 / X970 is 4x. The device has a 2x digital zoom. Due to high resolution of electronic components (sensor and display) and specially calculated ocular part, the image quality remains high even at its maximum magnification.
WIDE OPERATING TEMPERATURE RANGE
Ability to operate in normal mode at sub-zero temperatures is due to the use of a frost-resistant OLED display featuring fast response and provides a crisp image when observing a dynamic object.
RANGEFINDING RETICLE
Digital NV scopes Digiforce have a rangefinding reticle which enables distance measuring to observed objects with known height (deer - 1,7m; boar – 0,7m; hare – 0,3m) with a sufficient precision.
PROTECTION AGAINST BRIGHT LIGHT SOURCES
Digital NV devices can be turned on in daylight without the fear of being damaged either immediately or in the long term. They are not damaged by car headlights or street lighting. For cases when the device is used during the day Digiforce has a light filter in the objective cover. The filter reduces the amount of light getting into the objective lens, decreases brightness and increases contrast of image making observation more comfortable.
USER INTERFACE
Current information about the status of the device, depicted in the form of blue icons and numbers, is located on the data panel in the lower portion of the screen, and does not interfere with the image observed. When switching between various functions, the respective large sized icon appears in the right portion of the screen.
BUILT-IN IR ILLUMINATOR
Digital NV devices Digiforce are equipped with two types of eye-safe laser IR illuminators: either with 780 nm wavelength or with 915 nm wavelength. Both illuminators have 3-stage power adjustment. Digiforce X970 operates in invisible infrared spectral range that allows virtually concealed observation.
EXTERNAL POWER SUPPLY
Operation time can be significantly prolonged by using high-capacity external power supply units (e.g. EPS3I/EPS5) attached to the Digiforce via an external power jack. During extended use in freezing weather, the external power supply units can be stored under the user’s clothes.
VIDEO OUT
The Digiforce is equipped with a jack allowing connection of external video recording sources or TV set facilitating long-time stationary viewing.
MOUNTS
The Digiforce night vision scopes are equipped with an original mount fitting which combines a ¼“ tripod socket (to enable mounting on a tripod) and a Mil – STD 1913 weaver short rail to enable mounting different accessories including auxiliary IRs, power supplies, sound amplification and other systems.
