DAM Fishing Tackle
The term legendary is sometimes overused in the modern world, especially when it comes to fishing, but it’s a superlative that perfectly describes DAM (or Deutsche Angelgeräte Manufaktur). The German brand was originally founded way back in 1875, making it one of the oldest fishing tackle brands on Earth. Throughout its long and illustrious history, DAM has achieved many great accolades including being one of the first European brands to offer fishing rods made entirely of carbon in the 1970s, creating the first-ever German branded fishing line with patent and trademark in DAMYL, launching the world-famous Quick reel brand, and creating the million-selling EFFZETT spinners and spoons. With more than 145 years of history, it should really be no surprise that DAM has managed such achievements and is so well-known and loved by anglers around the world.
