The Mikado MFT Fast Spin series is designed for classic predator spinning. These rods provide excellent feedback of what's happening underwater, allowing for precise lure control and a quick response to strikes. Blank and Construction: The blank is made of high-modulus Toray carbon, resulting in a lightweight rod with ample power. It loads well during the cast and retrieves quickly, always maintaining control. Action and Performance: The fast action allows for effective hooksets and precise lure work. Contacts with the bottom, obstacles, and even the subtlest bites are clearly felt. Components: The TVS-type reel seat offers a secure grip and direct contact with the blank. This enhances sensitivity and makes fishing more comfortable during long sessions. Use: The MFT Fast Spin rods are primarily designed for zander and pike. They work very well with soft plastics and techniques where bottom control is key. The 5-30g range covers most common spinning situations.
