Introducing a new thermal powerhouse small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. The Axion Compact XG35 may be compact and lightweight, but don’t let its size fool you — with a sensitive 640×480, 12µm, <40 NETD European-made Lynred thermal sensor and a powerful 35 mm f1.0 germanium objective lens, this thermal imaging monocular will reveal even the smallest heat source, in crystal-clear detail, at distances reaching up to 1750 metres.
A Compact Thermal Powerhouse
The Axion Compact XG35 from Pulsar introduces a compact and lightweight powerhouse to their range of high-performance thermal imaging monoculars. With a highly sensitive 640×480, 12µm, <40 NETD European-made Lynred thermal sensor and a powerful 35 mm f1.0 germanium objective lens, this device may be small enough to fit in your pocket, but its size is no indication of its capabilities — offering an impressive detection range of up to 1750m in day- or night-time conditions.
Wide Field of View
Designed to reveal even more, the Axion Compact XG35 features a wide 12.5° field of view, opening up the observation area and enabling more comfortable searching and scanning of large areas. With its wider field of view, high-performing thermal sensor, and powerful objective lens, this monocular will detect a heat source at impressive distances, revealing in stunning, crystal-clear detail, an observed animal’s important anatomical features.
Extended Observation
With up to 7 hours of battery life provided by a removable, rechargeable Pulsar APS3 battery, the Axion Compact XG35 provides longer periods of observation, allowing you to keep going through the day and into the night. Because the APS3 is removeable, you can even replace it with a spare in the field to extend your observations even further.
IPX7 Rated
Its robust magnesium alloy bodyshell provides ample protection against everyday bumps, knocks, and scrapes; keeps the device protected from dust- and moisture ingress; allows the monocular to be used in adverse weather conditions, including dense fog, heavy rain, and snow; and even keeps the device running unaffected after being immersed in water.
A stylish new rubberised strip along the bottom of the device ensures better grip in both wet and dry conditions — providing even more security when using the device in the field.
8 Colour Palettes
As with all current Pulsar devices, the Axion Compact XG35 features eight colour palettes designed to enhance your thermal observation experience, allowing you to observe your field of view more effectively by optimising the monocular for specific tasks and reacting to changing observation conditions.
- White Hot, Black Hot and Red Hot are optimal for object detection.
- Rainbow and Ultramarine help increase chances for recognition & identification.
- Red Monochrome, Sepia and Violet are most suitable for long observation in the night
Built-in Video Recorder
Built-in video recording (with audio) and still image capture ensures you’ll never miss your favourite moments during observation. Videos and images captured on the device are stored on the generous internal memory and can even be stored on the cloud via Stream Vision 2, so you can access your favourite clips and images on the go.
Stream Vision 2
Connect the Axion Compact XG35 to Stream Vision 2 using an Android or iOS smartphone or tablet and discover a wide range of connectivity features, including:
