The Westin Swim Tail 10cm 40g Sinking is a compact and adaptable predator lure based on the proven Westin Swim concept. Its interchangeable soft-tail system allows anglers to switch between the supplied paddle tail and curl tail in seconds, creating several distinctly different swimming actions from a single hard-bodied lure. The 40g sinking design also provides good casting performance and allows the lure to be worked below the surface when targeting pike. 

Use the paddle tail with a steady retrieve or short pauses for an active swimming presentation. Fit the curl tail for twitching and jerkbait-style retrieves with longer pauses; mounting the curl upwards produces a more pronounced twitching action, while fitting it down creates a more traditional tailbait movement. For deeper water, an additional switch weight can be attached to the front wire eyelet. This versatility is useful on lakes, rivers and canals where depth, wind and fish activity can change throughout a session.
